1 Who we are and scope
DJPromoDesk is operated by YIN LTD, company number 10660966, 2 Western Street, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England, S70 2BP. Contact: contact@djpromodesk.com. This notice covers the platform and hosted artist pages that display it. Artists are responsible for their own content, audience processing and additional technologies. Our Privacy Notice explains personal-data use and rights.
2 Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies and browser storage can keep you signed in, protect a requested function, remember a choice or measure interactions. Local storage stays in the browser until removed; an application may stop using an expired record without physically deleting it. A technology’s browser lifetime is separate from retention of associated server data. Choices on one domain may not apply to another artist domain.
3 Your choices
Technologies strictly necessary for requested services operate without optional-cookie consent. Optional analytics operates only after permission. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and you can withdraw permission through Analytics preferences. External-player information explains the provider and relevant tracking before loading, with consent obtained where required. Choices apply on the relevant domain; refusal does not prevent core access. Analytics consent does not authorise unrelated advertising or third-party tracking.
Supported music players use a separate Load player choice with information about the provider. Loading sends technical information, including your IP address, to that provider. Unload external player removes the player and stops further interaction through it; it does not remove cookies already placed or information already received. Provider storage can be cleared through browser controls. Each additional player or embed requires its own information and any consent required before it loads.
Accepting membership terms, continuing to browse or consenting to email marketing does not by itself authorise optional device tracking. Analytics and player choices apply to the functions described by their controls; they are not blanket consent for every external service or artist domain.
4 First party technologies
The following first-party technologies are used for the functions described below where those functions are enabled. Their browser lifetimes are separate from retention of associated server records. They are set on the host being visited unless a narrower path is stated.
gf_promodesk_session — artist sign-in cookie. Necessary for the requested session; Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict, path /. Browser maximum eight hours; server session policy also ends access after 30 minutes of inactivity.
promodesk_master_session — Master sign-in cookie. Necessary for administration; Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict, path /. Maximum eight hours, with the server inactivity restriction.
promodesk_auth_challenge — authentication challenge cookie. Necessary for completing sign-in or MFA; Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict, path /; ten minutes.
promodesk_google_signup — temporary Google authentication binding cookie, where that sign-in option is enabled. Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax; path /api/signup/google; ten minutes and cleared on successful completion. It is not an advertising cookie.
promodesk_managed_desk — managed support session cookie. Necessary for an authorised support session; Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict, path /; maximum eight hours. The support session is limited to its authorised scope and can be revoked.
pd_marketing — optional platform analytics cookie. Random browser identifier used for public-page and signup measurement after permission; Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, path /; programmed maximum 30 days from setting. Withdrawal requests deletion of linked measurements and clears the cookie. No raw IP address is stored in the associated analytics dataset.
pd-analytics-choice — local-storage record of the platform analytics choice, valid for 30 days. It remembers acceptance or refusal and is separate from the optional identifier. An expired value may remain physically in browser storage until overwritten or cleared, but the script stops treating it as a current choice.
pd-artist-analytics-{artist ID} — local-storage choice for a hosted artist page, valid for 30 days. On acceptance it also holds a random browser identifier used for optional page/source/outbound-link/country reporting. On refusal the stored choice has no analytics identifier. Withdrawal requests deletion of linked measurements. Expired values are ignored rather than guaranteed physically erased.
5 External services and tracking
Cloudflare supplies delivery and security infrastructure. Any storage required for a particular security challenge is explained at the point of use. Stripe checkout may use payment and fraud-prevention technologies under its own information and controls. Google authentication redirects to Google and its service controls. Google-hosted fonts, where used, make a third-party network request even where no cookie is set; Google may receive your IP address and browser request information.
SoundCloud and other enabled players may use their own storage and tracking after loading. The information shown with each player must identify its provider and explain its purposes and any consent required before loading; the provider’s own notice explains its technologies and retention. Resend, Kit, Buffer and OpenAI are not website cookie providers merely because the application calls their APIs. Email-open pixels and tracked email links require separate recipient information and any applicable consent.
Referral codes explicitly submitted during signup can be recorded against the customer account separately from optional website analytics. Optional acquisition analytics records reduced campaign and referral source information after permission. These functions do not authorise undisclosed affiliate device tracking. No Google Analytics or Meta Pixel installation is described by this notice.
6 Changing choices and clearing storage
Use Analytics preferences on the relevant page or the supported player control. You can also block or clear cookies and site storage in your browser. Clearing necessary cookies may sign you out; clearing choice records may make the preference question reappear. Changes affect future processing and do not undo earlier lawful processing. Optional cookies already set by an external provider may require removal through browser or provider controls.
7 Changes and contact
Questions can be sent to contact@djpromodesk.com. Material changes to optional tracking require the notice and controls to be updated together and fresh consent where required. Our Privacy Notice explains associated personal-data use and your rights. Links to both notices must be available from the relevant website.
